SUMMARY OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF UK SALE

Definition of expressions used:-
"Buyer" = The person, company, department or other body who has ordered and/or accepted goods or services from GB Audio.
"Goods" = All items and or services ordered by the buyer along with any other items and or services included or implied whether specified or not.
"Seller" = GB Audio.

1.         Goods remain the property of the seller until payment is made in full. In the event of the Buyer failing to make any payment when due, enters into bankruptcy, liquidation or a composition with its creditors, has a receiver, manager, administrator or administrative receiver appointed of all or part of its assets or becomes insolvent, the seller may, without prejudice to any other rights of remedies, forthwith terminate the buyers account arrangements and repossess all Goods which have not been paid for in full and consequently remain the property of the seller.  

2.         Any entitlement to discount will be forfeited if accounts are not paid by the due date: Furthermore, any accounts not paid by the due date will have an interest charge applied at the rate of 2% per calendar month or part thereof from that due date. 

3.         All prices are ex-works. The seller, whilst taking all reasonable measures to ensure that goods are delivered on time, will not be held responsible for any consequences of late or non-delivery which may be beyond the direct control of The seller. In the event of goods arriving damaged or faulty the seller must be notified in writing within 3 working days. 

4.         All prices are quoted complete, with no re-claimable VAT within UK or Europe. Prices are also valid for export out of Europe.

5.         The buyer assumes full responsibility for goods from the time of checking out from the premises of The seller. The buyer is responsible for any loss or damage which could happen to the Goods in transit. It is therefore recommended that the buyer takes out adequate insurance to cover the Goods in transit. 

6.         Goods will be supplied on the understanding that they will be competently operated by the Buyer or agents of the Buyer. No liability will be accepted by The seller for any damage to persons or property if the Goods have been used incorrectly or in a dangerous manner of modified or altered in any way by the Buyer or agent of the Buyer. 

7.         Items may not be returned without prior authorisation. Any faults or shortages must be notified within 3 days of receipt and returned, with authorisation reference and at the customer's expense, within 7 days. Faulty or missing items or warranty returns will either be repaired or replaced or refunded at the Seller's discretion. For no-fault returns, a 15% re-stocking charge will be applied to cover administration and handling. Carriage charges are non-refundable. Where free carriage has been offered for purchases over £120.00 the buyer will become liable for the cost of outward carriage. Spare parts and other special order items are not returnable and not refundable. The buyer's statutory rights are not affected.

8          The placing of an order for Goods and/or services by the Buyer constitutes a contract which binds the Buyer to accept all the conditions shown above. Furthermore, it must be noted that this acceptance binds each director or partner or individual proprietor of the Buyer to  personally guarantee full payment of all invoices properly issued by the seller.

9.         All agreements, contracts and transactions entered into with The Seller will be bound and governed by Scottish Law. This document supersedes all previous terms and conditions.

"Hirer"   = The person, company, department or other body who has ordered and/or accepted goods or services from GB Audio.
"Goods" = All items and or services accepted by the hirer along with any other items and or services included or implied whether specified or not.
"Owner" = GB Audio.  

1.         Hire charges are calculated from the date of collection / delivery to the date of return to The Owner. Permission for extending hire arrangements may be granted on request but must not be assumed. Availability and prices of Goods may vary from our rate card and cannot be guaranteed for periods of extension. 

2.         All prices are ex-works. Delivery is available in Edinburgh from £6.00 depending on the size of order, as is collection. We can deliver to any other area within UK personally or arrange an insured Road Carrier, or other approved method of transport. All charges incurred will be passed on to the Hirer. 

3.         A discount of 10% will be allowed for hire durations of three weeks or 20% for hire durations of four weeks. Further discounts may be allowed for longer periods or for package hires. Any entitlement to discount will be forfeited if accounts are not paid by the due date: Furthermore, any accounts not paid by the due date will have an interest charge applied at the rate of 2% per calendar month or part thereof, from date of invoice. 

4.         All prices are quoted complete, with no re-claimable VAT within UK.

5.         The Hirer assumes full responsibility for goods from the time of checking out until checking back in to The Owner. The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage caused to the goods during this period. The cost of replacing or repairing Goods to a no lesser value will be borne in full by the Hirer. Deposits will be returned only when any losses and damages have been made good and late return charges have been settled. It is recommended that the Hirer takes out adequate insurance to cover the Goods hired. A valuation is available on request. 

6.         Goods will only be supplied on the understanding that they will be competently installed and operated by the Hirer or agents of the Hirer. No liability will be accepted by The Owner for any damage to persons or property whilst the Goods are on hire to the Hirer. The Goods must not be modified or altered in any way by the Hirer or agent of the Hirer. The Owner intends to supply all Goods in good working order; however, in the event of defect the liability of the Owner will be limited to repair or replacement of any defective Goods, at the Owners' discretion.   

7.         The hirer is fully responsible for obtaining any licence, qualification or other authority which may be required for the safe and legal operation of any Goods hired and agrees to abide by all current legal guidelines relating to the installation and operation of the Goods.

8.          Goods may not be taken across any national border without prior, written permission. Goods remain the property of the Owner at all times. In the event of the breach of any of these conditions, the Owner may without prejudice to any other rights of remedies forthwith terminate the arrangement and repossess all their Goods. Re-hire is not allowed by the Hirer without advanced written permission.

9.          The placing of an order for goods and/or services by the Hirer constitutes a contract which binds the Hirer to accept the above conditions and our full terms and conditions of business.

10.        All agreements, contracts and transactions entered into with The Owner will be bound and governed by Scottish Law. This document supersedes all previous terms and conditions.

Definition of expressions used:-
        "Buyer"  = The person, company, department or other body who has ordered
                    and/or accepted goods or services from GB Audio.
        "Goods" = All items and or services ordered by the buyer along with any other
                    items and or services included or implied whether specified or not.
        "Seller"  = GB Audio.

1.      Goods remain the property of the Owner until payment is made in full. International Export - Methods of Payment

You can pay us by International Bank Draft, Fast Flow or PayPal or any other approved method of Sterling transfer.
Payment must be received net of bank commission or handling charges, which must be paid by the purchaser.
The following Cards are acceptable for transactions up to £50.00 in certain regions only:
Visa, Delta, Electron, Access, JCB, Eurocard, MasterCard, Solo, Switch or Maestro.

EEC Export - Brexit implications for Tax, Duty and Customs Clearance

All prices on our web site and price lists are shown in £ (GB Pounds) Sterling and do not include shipping. This will vary from country to country. Sadly, due to Scotland being taken out of the EU, this also now applies to all EU countries and the Channel Islands. Items valued at under €22 will remain part of the Low Value Consignment Relief (LVCR) Scheme for items sent to the EU and are not subject to VAT or duties until 1 July 2021 (subject to further extension date to be set by the EU).
