APPLICATIONS
The M88NC offers both a wide frequency response and rugged
construction making an ideal combination for many applications. In the studio and live use
its high SPL capability allows the microphone to be placed close to loud sound sources
such as kick drum and bass guitar. It is also equally impressive as a vocal microphone or
for brass and woodwind instruments.
The M88NC is often used in a broadcast environment as an announcers or EFP microphone.
The TourGroup version (M88TG)
has a black reinforced basket to withstand rough handling when being used
for more demanding applications.

NOTE:
These versions of the M88 microphone have an XLR3 connector. The older
(60s-70s) grey/metalic body version was originally manufactured with a locking
3 pin DIN connector, which are still available to
