Studer (formerly known as Studer-Revox) introduced the B77 in 1979 to replace the renowned A77. Now obsolete.

The B77 is a theatre classic for recording, easy editing and playback.
Stereo or two channel mono operation, sound-on-sound,  large tape transport buttons, vertical or horizontal operation, comprehensive headphone monitoring, remote control option. 3 motor tape drive. Remote control of all transport functions and electric timer operation are possible.
